Abstract


Given the growing importance of sustainable management of resources, as well as the growth of non-renewable resources decrease, in recent years is trying increasingly to promote and to use renewable resources. The crisis of energy resources leads to higher prices and therefore contributes to the emergence of social problems such as loss of social welfare and diminishing energy security in Romania. The purpose of this article is to make an analysis of the importance of the human factor in achieving the expected results due to the promotion and use of green economy, as well as a review of policies in this sector. The importance of the human factor is given by the need to take decisions that must have an impact on various aspects of green energy sector at local, regional and global scale.
