Abstract


The purpose of this study is to treat aspects that are related to the sensitivity of information and knowledge transmitted through Social Media, helping all businesses involved in communication systems to become aware of the various importance of their personal information and knowledge, and of the risks it is faced with. Social Media technologies have penetrated both private business and public sector as they are present daily in various sectors: environment, transport, education, culture, public administration. The flexibility of the communication instruments specific to Social Media could be exploited by the project team in order to keep a high level of interest shown by the target group during the whole. The communication platforms used in the projects might include: wiki pages, blogs managed by the project team members, interactive calendars which present the main events in the project, newsletters, forums and chat rooms which allow the group members communicate and debate, YouTube channels which present the activities in the project in a way which is as close to reality as possible.
