Abstract
After more than two decades of oscillations Moldovan economy is facing the need to change its paradigm of development. The existing model of economic growth based on consumption from remittances cannot meet the new requirements of wavering the welfare of population. Moldova requires a new paradigm, and it could be setting up an export-oriented economy. What would an export-oriented economy mean for our country? First, creating a significant economic potential that would ensure not only the country's domestic needs, but also a growing positive trade balance. Programs for attracting indicative investments, including foreign, targeted to specific sectors and ensuring the competitiveness of domestic products on world markets could serve as a starting point for export-oriented economy. The new model focuses on competitiveness, investment and innovation most importantly the creation of new jobs. It is also necessary to be mentioned that domestic enterprises face a number of constraints among one most important, a rigid business environment. In these regards, the objective is to improve tax and customs administration, solve issues related to access to finance and, in particular, access to credible and effective justice.
